He married MaryAnn Roczkowski, his loving wife of 56 years, on August 6, 1966 at St. Casimir Catholic Church. She survives him.

Dan loved golfing with his sons, sons-in-law, grandsons and close friends. He never missed an opportunity to support his children and grandchildren as they participated in their sports, dance recitals, pom-pon competitions and school events. He also loved attending local high school basketball and football games. He was a loyal Michigan State Spartan fan and a life-long fan of the Detroit Tigers, Lions, Red Wings and Pistons.
