Beloved mother and nana passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 6, 2022 at her home surrounded by her family. Age 62 years. The daughter of the late Ernest and Sophie (Chomas) York, Christine was born on October 6, 1959 in Saginaw, Michigan. Christine was proud to be a registered nurse for over 20 years. She thoroughly loved working with the elderly in many Saginaw area assisted living facilities and nursing homes. Christine enjoyed being outdoors, camping, baking, but her greatest joy was spending time with her granddaughters.
Surviving are two daughters, Alicia (Jason) Windy, Saginaw; Adrienne (Ben) Ritenburgh, Bridgeport; two granddaughters, Alison and Madilyn Windy; a brother, James York, Saginaw. Christine was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert and Mitchell York.
Honoring Christine’s wishes cremation has taken place and no services are scheduled. Arrangements have been entrusted to The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Rd.
