Obituary for Brian Anthony Quinnan

Quinnan, Brian Anthony
Saginaw Township, Michigan

QUINNAN – Brian Anthony Quinnan, 66, born, January 24, 1956 passed away November 17, 2022; dear husband of Sue Kern Quinnan, father of Casey Joseph Quinnan, grandfather to Chloe Quinnan and Owen Quinnan; brother to Martin (Mary McLoughlin) Quinnan, Loretta Quinnan, Michael (Sandy Churchfield) Quinnan, James Quinnan, Martha Quinnan, and David Quinnan and uncle to many nieces and nephews. Brian was predeceased by his parents William A. Quinnan and Donna J. Quinnan, and brothers Thomas Michael Quinnan and William John Quinnan. Brian was the third child of Bill and Donna Quinnan’s nine children. After graduating from St. Mary’s Cathedral High School in 1974 Brian began his 30+ years of working in skilled trades at General Motors in Saginaw. Brian was an accomplished mechanic and could fix just about anything. He had an engineer’s brain and made the most of his inherent intelligence in a number of jobs that showcased his talent. He trained and loved dogs, especially German shepherds. He particularly enjoyed riding his motorcycle and thrilled his nieces and nephews when taking them for an occasional ride. A contrarian and one who often bucked whatever organization or structure he was in, Brian went his own way and did things as he wanted. His parting words to all of us might have been: “The great pleasure in life is doing what people say you cannot do.”
