Our beloved sister, aunt, cousin, and friend, Barbara Kay “Barb” Jaski, passed away unexpectedly on February 10, 2023 at her residence in Saginaw Township, Michigan. Age 67 years. Barb was born on May 12, 1955 in Saginaw, Michigan to the late Stephen and Bette (McLeod) Jaski. She was a 1974 graduate of St. Mary’s Cathedral High School. Following graduation, Barb furthered her education by attending Saginaw Valley State University; Barb worked for numerous years in the accounting department at the University. Barb had a great love for her cats; over the years providing love to many. She enjoyed collecting collectables and Polish pottery. Barb had a passion for collecting jewelry; she even worked part time at a local jewelry store. Many will remember Barb for her love of cooking and baking. Barb was also an avid quilter. She volunteered and attended events at the Moose Lodge #82 in Saginaw. Barb will be missed dearly by all, and her memories cherished forever.
Left to cherish her memories are her three brothers, Tim (Ann) Jaski of Troy, MI; Greg Jaski of Saginaw, MI, and Mark (Coleen) Jaski of Defiance, OH; several nieces and nephews; grand-nephews and grand-nieces; cousins and friends. Barb is happily reunited with her parents, Stephen and Bette (McLeod) Jaski; sister-in-law, Carol Jaski; and nephew, Christopher Jaski.
At the request of Barb and her family, cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Inurnment will take place in Oakwood Mausoleum in Saginaw, Michigan. Arrangements have been entrusted to The Snow Funeral Home, www.snowfuneralhome.net
