Obituary for Barbara Jean Gray

Barbara Jean Gray,

Saginaw Twp., Michigan.

Loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away Thursday, March 9, 2023. Age 86 years. Daughter of the late August and Alma (Golomb) Seymore, Barbara was born February 3, 1937 in Carrollton, Michigan. She was employed at Gase Baking and General Motors Plant#6 for 23 years retiring in 1999. Barbara was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church and U.A.W. Local #699 Retirees. Barb was a very loving person and could always find good in everyone. She loved walking every day and working in her yard and flowers. Her life was devoted to her five children, nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Surviving to cherish her memory are two sons and three daughters, Terry Dean Kemerer, Saginaw; Heather Kai and Robert McFarland, Gaylord; Jann Christine and Vince Anderson, Saginaw; Mark David Kemerer, Hemlock; Jodi Lynn Blair, Cassopolis, Michigan; eight grandchildren, Anthony and Brittany Jeffers, Saginaw; Krysten Cole and her fiancé Jeff Crews, Detroit; Shanon and P.J. Britz, Holland; Terry Kemerer Jr. and his wife Nikki Kemerer, Flint; Amanda Kemerer, Ambridge, Pennsylvania; Matthew McFarland, Traverse City; Dana Cole, Charleston, South Carolina; Sage and Vance Blair, Cassopolis; six great-grandchildren, Elijah Schafer, Faith Kemerer, Daxson Kemerer, Peter Britz Jr., Ferris Jeffers, August Britz and two angels on the way. Barbara was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Michelle Johnson, her brother, Bruce Seymore, and a daughter-in-law, Jennifer Kemerer.

Funeral Service will take place 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 14, 2023 at The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Rd. (between Shattuck and McCarty), Saginaw, Michigan. Pastor Michael Korte will officiate with burial in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit at the funeral home where the family will be present on Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. until time of service.
