Anne M. Opperman,

Carrollton, Michigan.

Loving sister and aunt passed away Thursday, January 7, 2021 at Ascension St. Mary’s Hospital. Age 66 years. Daughter of the late Donald and Monica (Uszynski) Opperman, Anne was born April 27, 1954 in Saginaw, Michigan. Anne was a librarian at the Thomas Township Library. She was a member of Cathedral of Mary of the Assumption. Anne enjoyed traveling, reading books, spending time with her family, friends and her pups, Bentley and Teddy.

Surviving to cherish her memory are her sister Sue Opperman, Saginaw; her beloved nieces, Molly and Jeff Princinsky, Saginaw; Amy and Tony Decker, Freeland; four great-nieces and nephew, Paige, Addyson, Kennadi, Jax and an angel on the way. Anne was preceded in death by her brother, James “Jimmy” Opperman.

Funeral Liturgy will take place 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 12, 2021 at the Cathedral of Mary of the Assumption, 615 Hoyt, Saginaw, Michigan. Rev. Fr. Thai Nguyen will officiate with burial in St. Andrew Cemetery. Friends may visit at The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Rd. (between Shattuck and McCarty) where the family will be present on Monday from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and at the church on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until time of Mass. In accordance with the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services ordinance, the limitations of number gathered, mask wearing and social distancing will be observed. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to the Cathedral of Mary of the Assumption or the Saginaw Children’s Zoo.
