Obituary for Allen "Al" Schuette

Allen E. Schuette
Saginaw, Michigan

Devoted father and grandfather passed away on Wednesday, March 9, 2022 at Covenant HealthCare-Cooper Campus. Age 84 years. The son of the late Paul and Irene (Roggenbuck) Schuette, Al was born on June 24, 1937 in East Detroit, Michigan. He married Laurraine Stine on August 23, 1958. She predeceased him. Al loved farming and spent his entire career in the agricultural industry, as a sales manager. He was an active member of Christ the Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Saginaw, where he volunteered countless hours serving as a Eucharistic Minister, singing in the choir, helping with funeral luncheons, doing yard work and served on the jail ministry. Aside from farming, his other love was music. He played accordion, and trumpet and was president of the Eisenhower High School Music Boosters in High School. He was an avid Detroit and Michigan State sports fan. In his younger days, Al earned his way through Michigan State University by cooking for the MSU football team. Other than the love for his family, his greatest passion in life was to uplift people and help them strive to do better in their lives.
