Loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away Friday, April 21, 2023 at her home with her family at her side. Age 86 years, Daughter of the late Floyd and Beatrice (Litkowski) Raymond, Alice was born February 26, 1937 in Saginaw, Michigan. She was married to Gerald J. Forier, her loving husband of 56 years, on January 17, 1959. He predeceased her May 19, 2015. Alice was a secretary at several banks and insurance companies in the area. Alice was a member of St. Dominic Parish- St. Stephen Catholic Church and involved in Christian Service and funeral luncheons. She enjoyed watching wild life, shopping, playing cards and gardening.
Surviving to cherish her memory are four sons, two daughters and their spouses Chris (Kitty) Fortier, Ravenna, Michigan; Julie (Steve) Ellis, Saginaw; Mark (Michelle) Fortier, Coleman; Kurt (Leanne) Fortier, Saginaw; Brian (Michaelleta) Fortier, Bailey, Michigan; Lisa (Art) Eisenhauer, Baxter, Tennessee; 12 grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren and an angel on the way; many nieces and nephews. Alice was preceded in death by one sister, Donna Moorehead, one brother F. James Raymond and her canine companion, Bella.
Funeral Liturgy will take place 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 24, 2023 at St. Dominic Parish-St. Stephen Catholic Church, 1310 Malzahn, Saginaw, Michigan. Rev. Fr. Vijay Lourdu will officiate with burial in St. Andrew Cemetery. Friends may visit at the church where the family will be present on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until time of Mass. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to St. Dominic Parish.
